Photo Display

I was in my local craft store and they were having a 50% off sale. I am a sucker for clearance stuff. I don't know why, but when I see a clearance sticker, I am immediately drawn to it :)

I found this metal garden thing-a-ma-bob and it was only $9.00. I knew that there was something I could make with it. So, I bought it!
Since my craft room is decorated in red, black, and white, I knew that the green just wasn't going to work. So, first I spray painted it red and then I put a black glaze over the top of it.
Here it is at that point. Since I am more of a floral girl and not much of a leaf person, I decided that I wanted to do something about those leaves.
I liked the leaves, but I didn't love them.
So, I came up with an idea to make some durable plastic flowers to glue over some of the leaves. Want to know how I made the flowers??? CLICK HERE :) I did a separate blog post on those :)
My flowers. I just love how they turned out. There are SO MANY things you could use them on!
Hanging in my craft room, but not quite finished. At first I was thinking that I would hang some of my craft supplies on this (which would work GREAT!), but then I decided to use it to hang photos, quotes, and memorabilia on.
I used clips to hang the stuff, but since it is metal, I can also go back and use magnets to hang more items on it.
