For M&M Mini, I just took the fun foam and cut it into circles. Then I cut M's out with my Cricut and glued them on the fun foam. I used a stapler and stapled the M&M's onto black sweats. You could glue them on using fabric glue, but I decided this way they can be pulled off and the sweats can be reused.
To do the large M&M, I just cut two large circles out of the Fun foam and then made straps for the shoulders with the remaining fun foam. I bought some red gloves and a knit hat. I added an M (cut with my Cricut) onto the hat and the front of the M&M.

I've always preferred the creativity of homemade Halloween costumes and was kind of sad when my kids were old enough to beg me for whatever was popular at WalMart. :( Yours, though, are darling and so very clever.
