Made by Me for Monday!
I am happy to share my kitchen spruce up this week. I finished it a few weeks ago, but have been saving the makeover to post until today. We moved into our new home about 11 months ago. Ever since we moved in I have been wanting to do the kitchen back splash. My hubby didn't think we needed one. I will admit, I think the kitchen looked just fine before, but to me, the back splash is kind of like the crowning jewel on a kitchen. I was SO excited when I finally found the tile that I wanted. Oh, and of course I needed to add a new coat of paint to add a little something-something to the tile as well!
Here is what my kitchen looked like before:

Here is the tile I chose:

After: New coat of paint and a new tile back splash! |
I LOVE tiling! Seriously, super easy to do. I did this entire project from paint to tile by myself. I LOVE doing home improvement projects and having the satisfaction of knowing that I am the one who made my house feel all that much more like a home :)
I will be partying HERE this week.
