Flashback Friday~Thrift Store Lamp

Quite a while ago, I purchased this little lamp for $5.00 at the thrift store. It wasn't in bad shape, and it worked. It just needed a little something, something to spruce it up a bit :)
BEFORE:
I spray painted the base a nice chocolate brown color and then I took my handy dandy crop-a-dile and punched holes all the way around the shade and four rows high.  Then I took pieces of ribbon and threaded them into the holes and tied them.

I am not going to lie.  It took FOREVER to do!  The results are cute though :)
AFTER:
