Remember the
VANITY and the
CORKBOARD that I made for my daughter's room??? Well, if you don't hop on over and check them out ;) I have been looking for a chair to go with the vanity. I had in mind what I wanted and was patiently waiting to find it.
Last week I made a trip to the Thrift Store and found this beauty! Isn't she LOVELY? Well, maybe not so much right now, but she was only $6 and sturdy as a rock. I could see her potential and it made me
happy giddy.
I took her home and tore her apart. Sanded her down and started her transformation. I found the material at a fabric store that specializes in upholstery fabric. Are you ready for this? It was on sale for $5 a yard. Oh yes, it was. I was
giddy deliriously happy! It matches her room perfectly.
I LOVE how she turned out. She looks wonderful with the
VANITY and the
CORKBOARD. So glad I stopped into the Thrift Store that day. Now my daughter has a vanity chair fit for a queen :)
