I am not going to lie, this weekend FLEW by! WOW! I cannot believe it is another new week already!!!
Today I am going to share a cute little project with you that I made a while back. I am a shoe LOVER. I can't seem to get enough shoes. My hubby asks me why it is that I need so many. . .I am not sure I have an answer (or at least an answer that will make sense to him! Haha!). I just love shoes! I have always loved shoes!!! They are one of my all time favorite things to buy.
Perhaps that is why I LOVED this idea so much! These "shoes" make the cutest party favors for baby showers, birthday parties, or just a cute little decor item for your house. They are super fun and WAY easy to make too!
I was given one of these shoes at a party I went to, so I brought it home and gently pulled it apart so that I could make a pattern. I traced the pattern onto a piece of chipboard and cut it out.
Once they are folded, you get something that looks like this:
Aren't they DARLING???????? I just LOVE them! They look super cute when they are stuffed with some "goodies" as a party favor.
I had a request to make 200 of these shoes for an Expo that I was helping with a while back. It took FOREVER to make all of them, but oh my goodness the ladies who got them LOVED them!!!
I am going to link up to a few of these SUPER FUN Linky Parties HERE this week.

It's Time to Party w/ Cookies, Cupcakes, and Ice Cream!
Are you ready for a party??? This is a little project I put together for a party we had at our house. We have used it to decorate cookies & cupcakes, and we have used it for ice cream toppings for banana splits. The teens in this house LOVE it :) They can decorate their own cupcakes & cookies, or add their own special toppings to their ice cream.
I started with a See & Store magnetic stand (someone had given it to me and it had been sitting around in its box for quite a while. Glad I FINALLY found a use for it!) and flipped it over on its side.
Then I added some fun scrapbook papers, ribbon, and bling to it.
I found some small spoons (the kind like they give you an ice cream sample with) and I punched a hole in the top of each of them. Added some ribbon and a jewel.
I took one of the plastic containers and cut a slot out of the top so that the spoons could slide down into it.
Then I filled the containers with all kinds of sprinkles and toppings.
I took a clear plastic container and added some embellishments to it. Then I tied a ribbon to the tops of the frosting tubes and put them into the container.
VOILA! We are now ready to party! Now all we need are some cupcakes and some cookies :)
