I was able to buy some GORGEOUS dishes and serving platters and table decor for SUPER CHEAP. Now my table can be super festive for our Thanksgiving meal, and it didn't even cost me an arm and a leg to do it.
Here is a sample place setting:
What do you think? Pretty great stuff for 75% off, right??? The charger and the silverware were mine, but the dishes and all the stuff I bought to make the centerpiece were 75% off.
For the centerpiece, all I did was buy some of the fall fake veggies (they were only 10 cents each!) and then some of the fall leaves, fall flowers, and some fall ribbon, and put them into a cute fall colored basket (that was also 75 % off!).
For the napkin-ring, I took some of my beads that were fall colors and strung them onto a piece of elastic for making bracelets. Basically, I just made a bracelet and then wrapped it around the napkin and stuck a fall leaf underneath it.
I even decorated the glass with a piece of ribbon on the stem, and then I cut some circles out of fall colored scrapbook paper and added them to the base of the glass. Super inexpensive, yet it adds a little pop even to the glasses.
Hope you all have a FABULOUS Thanksgiving, and that you take time to remember what you are thankful for.
I will be LINKING UP HERE and BLOG HOPPING HERE this week, as time permits. So, pop on by and check them out :)
I will also be hosting THRILLING THURSDAY this week. I don't know how many links will be put up, since it is a holiday, but I will leave the linky open from Wednesday at 9PM until Sunday at midnight. So, if you have time, come join the party :)
