Growth Chart

I keep forgetting to post this! I gave this to my hubby for Christmas this year. We have always tracked the height of our kids each year. Usually we do it in our laundry room on the door frame. However, we have moved so many times that we lost YEARS worth of my kids height marks.
I decided to come up with a way that we can still track the height of my kids each year, but take it with us if (more like WHEN) we move.
I was SO happy because I am friends with Brooke, who bought our home in SG before we moved up north and she hadn't painted over the height marks in our old laundry room. So, I was able to take the growth chart to her house and get some of the marks on this chart for my hubby.
I love how it turned out AND the bonus, it is SUPER easy to make! All you need is some paint, some vinyl, glossy accents (for the flowers), and a board.
Most growth charts stop at 6ft, but since I have brothers who are six and a half feet tall, I figured that I better have mine go up to 7ft. No telling how tall some of my boys will get!!! :D

This is super cute! As kids, my dad measured us on the doorframe also...wish we had something this adorable! Great job!

That is SO great! I really want to make one for our family, but I haven't been tracking my kids' heights - except for doctor's visits.

I suppose it's better to start late than never.

Great idea! Can I ask where you got the vinyl decals?
